We’re Alba and Pere — a Galician who treasures childhood memories on Carnota Beach, and a Mallorcan who, from the moment he discovered Lira, felt it was his place too. Together, we decided to make this 1900 house our home in the north. When we bought it, it was known as Pepe de Taralala’s house, and while it still holds that original charm, to us it will always be A Casiña de Lira.

It’s a dream we hope to share with anyone who appreciates the calm of Lira and its surroundings — whether it’s walking along the beach, visiting the local fish market, hiking, or reading by the fire.

We believe in conscious travel, where you can discover the most special corners of our little paradise: the Costa da Morte. We’re close to everything, yet in a place where peace and quiet come naturally.

Welcome to our home — and now, yours too.

In this house, we try to share everything this place meant — and still means — to us.

Its peaceful way of life and deep connection to the surroundings make it a place you’ll always want to return to. We hope it feels that way for you, too.
